My Postulates #3

Science has never claimed to be able to answer all questions. Quite the contrary. A perfectly suitable definition of science would be to describe it as a methodology for cataloging that which we don't know or understand, so that we may seek to understand it better.

  • Science can answer questions that are posed so that they may be falsified. If someone posed the God question in that way, science either disprove it or...well, not disprove it. Alas, people are hesitant to pose the question in that manner. Maybe it's the old Sapir-Worf hypothesis rearing it's head again...
